Dessert in High Society at Marina Bay Sands

It has been two years last since I have celebrated Chinese New Year due to my grandma’s death, a tradition which most chinese follows. It was a quiet year, with negatives news on the economies around the world looming in the news since last year. Furthermore, the festive season is on the weekdays, most of the people have to start work on Wednesday or Chu San. Fortunately, my wife and I are on leave and we took the liberty to get a good window shopping at Marina Bay Sands together with my sister. We just had a brief stroll and before leaving home for dinner, we had some desserts at the High Society. Related: Mango Dessert at Chinatown Point’s Mei Heong Yuen Dessert Rainbow Cake – …

Delicious Cabbage Roll and Mango Dessert at Ang Mo Kio’s Hong Kong Dessert (谢记)

Since I was still early for my hair cut appointment, my girlfriend had the sudden crave for dessert which she has been thinking for the past few weeks and highly recommended by many other customers as well for their desserts. The Hong Kong Dessert is located in a small shopfront at Jubilee Square. Looking through the glass windows, customers are scattered around the tables, chatting and enjoying their desserts. The entire shop is not very big and I think only possible to house about 12-15 pax maximum with their tables. We was greeted by a Malay auntie whom show us their menu. Surprisingly, given their small shop yet they have a large menu and best of all, it is halal as well. Initially, we was only …

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar at Vivocity

Before I start writing a blog post regarding Max Brenner at Vivocity, I read many others reviews from many sites and there was many negative reviews on hungrygowhere.com. I thought I was just too sensitive over their service, but I think I was not wrong. In fact, my first encounter with Max Brenner was during my stay in Melbourne Australia for my sister’s graduation ceremony. They shown a lot of creativity in making of chocolate-based drinks and desserts which was I thought it was quite unique. Of course it is a good thing that we are able to enjoy Max Brenner, but I think they lack of quality customer services which might just ruin their names. Banana Split I was suppose to have a lunch appointment …

Late Evening Coffee Chill at The Coffee Daily

Three more weeks before our first RES exam and I have buried myself inside the notes together with my girl friend at home for a hardcore studying the entire day. After a hard day of intense studying, we decided to give ourselves a short break away from the notes and enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee (both of us are coffee freaks). I surfed the net and saw Oh Nom Nom Nom’s blog introducing The Coffee Daily at Brighton Crescent. We decided to try our luck.
